Doug is a principal in our Assurance Team and also our Entrepreneurial Team.  Prior to joining Somerset in 1999, Doug gained public accounting experience in both Big Four and local firm settings.  Doug oversees the conduct of the firm’s public company and employee benefit plan audit practices.  Doug has extensive experience in high growth industries, including telecommunications and technology as well as manufacturing and construction.  He serves as the firm’s lead partner in charge as liaison of the international network of BDO Seidman, the fifth largest accounting firm in the world, and its alliance firms.  He also specializes in merger and acquisition accounting, stock compensation issues, Sarbanes Oxley compliance and large corporate audits.
