Somerset CPAs invites your children ages 10 to 14 to join us for our Financial Skills for Kids seminar. Children of all ages have opportunities to make, save and spend money. During our seminar, we will help them understand the importance of money and help them develop skills to manage their financial resources. We will discuss saving and investing, goal setting, bank accounts and much more.

We invite your teens ages 15 to 18 to join us for our Financial Skills for Teens seminar. Many attitudes and habits about money are usually formed by the teen years; however, it is never too late for them to learn the financial facts of life. These lessons will help teens learn about making money, money management, investments, the stock market, credit and much more.

Financial Skills for Young Adults - Ages 19 to 25

Whether still in college or beginning a career or family, you can never learn too much about saving and managing money. Young adults ages 19 to 25 are invited to attend this seminar. During the seminar, we will discuss many important financial topics—investing, retirement plans, credit scores, debt and cash flow management, personal record keeping, taxes, common money mistakes and how to avoid them and much, much more.

About the Speaker: Larry is a principal in Somerset’s Wealth Management Team. Prior to joining Somerset, Larry was a director and partner in Fringe Benefit Planners for 15 years. In addition to managing client investments in the millions of dollars, his expertise in risk management ranges from the analysis of appropriate disability policies to developing business and personal strategies for the implementation of life policies utilizing tax favored strategies. Larry’s credentials include Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and Accredited Asset Management Specialist. Additionally, he is a member of the National Association of Securities Dealers. From 1995 to 1998, he was an NFL Players Association Certified Contract Advisor. Larry received his B.S. degree cum laude in three years from Butler University in 1978.
