Somerset CPAs, an Indianapolis-based certified public accounting and advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Kathy Rokita has joined the firm’s Health Care Team as a Manager.

Prior to joining Somerset, Kathy spent several years in the banking industry as a health care lender, where she specialized in financing and cash management needs for physician groups and hospitals with specific emphasis on credit facilities and bond financing used to fund new construction projects, hospital and physician joint ventures and large equipment purchases.

Kathy also spent over eight years in physician practice management with a specialty surgical group. She gained additional experience with a health care consulting and accounting firm where she focused on physician and hospital revenue cycle projects, operational improvement and practice management, as well as assistance with practice management system selection and implementation, strategic planning and physician compensation plans.

Kathy graduated with an accounting degree from Indiana University and belongs to several professional associations, including the Medical Group Management Association, Healthcare Financial Management Association, the Indiana CPA Society and American Institute of CPAs. She serves as treasurer on the board of Executive Women in Healthcare and is on the board of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Indianapolis Affiliate.
